“We worked with Jason & Lilliana by correspondence from Victoria. COVID meant we were unable to travel to our newly built holiday apartment to fit it out ourselves.
In retrospect it was a blessing because there is no way we could have executed the job the way Designing Spaces and Places did. The process was made very simple. A design brief from me set off the chain of correspondence with Jason. He emailed PowerPoint slides to me with laid up options which I could approve or reject.
There really wasn’t too much to-ing and fro-ing because Jason nailed our look from the beginning, and we worked on that foundation.
The turn-key approach takes all the hard work out of the onerous task of setting up a house. It was heaven to walk in on Boxing Day to our apartment for the very first time to have everything in place and working – even the beds were made. No boxes or packaging to discard, no lugging large bulky items in and out, up and down the lift.
6 months later we had Jason and Lilli back to give advice regarding wallpaper. We wallpapered the entire apartment and again we are so thrilled with the look – there is no way I could have pulled this off without their expertise.
